I have been polluting the Internet since about 2004 over on my VeloFello site. It started as a purely personal blog, then morphed into a semi-official micro-resource where I shared some articles from behind the factory door in Asia. More recently it became a dumping ground various mountain bike links, especially relating to the French Alps. It was a mess (it still is).
I’ve often stressed myself out over the fact that I’m note sure I really have anything to say. But I’ve been mulling the idea of this blog over for a while now, and decided to finally get on with it, pop something simple together and see how this goes?
In no small way, Merlin Mann reminds me that I probably do have something to say, and gives some great pointers as to how and why to go about saying it.
Micro-National now gives me a fresh voice, in which I can explore some themes which have greatly interested me at work, but in my own time and with my own views.
In no particular order I’ll be exploring a bit about: Networks, collaboration, communities, trends, practices, inspiration, e-commerce, branding, consumer awareness, eco-awareness, social media, distribution methods, pricing strategies, and other things I discover along the way.
If you are so inclined to know more about my aims for this blog, I suggest you take a look at this post, and this page.
Comments, good or bad are something that would be much appreciated. Oh, while we are mentioning Merlin Mann, check this.
